As Head of Health, Safety & Quality (m/f/x), you are an important part of our management team. Reporting directly to the management, you will be responsible for the overall coordination of the HSQ areas and actively shape our company's growth together with your co-workers and the rest of the ELA team.

Your responsibilities

• Developing and implementing strategies to improve safety, health and quality in line with corporate objectives at all national and international company locations
• Management and development of an interdisciplinary HSQ team
• Establishing and maintaining quality management with quality assurance and quality control for the entire group of companies
• Responsibility for compliance with all nationally and internationally relevant laws, regulations and company guidelines in the area of HSQ
• Providing strategic advice to various corporate management bodies in the area of HSQ
• Implementation and control of safety, health and quality programmes to ensure a safe working environment
• Identifying and assessing risks and developing corresponding action plans in the area of occupational health and safety
• Responsibility for internal and external audits, monitoring of key figures in the area of HSQ and regular reporting to company management
• Interdisciplinary collaboration with other departments to integrate and promote HSQ standards
• Development and implementation of emergency and crisis management plan
• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement in HSQ by regularly reviewing and adapting processes and systems

 

What you should bring along

• Completed studies in engineering, business administration or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in leading positions in the field of HSQ, preferably in an industrial or production-oriented environment
• Comprehensive knowledge of national and international standards and legal regulations in the areas of health, safety and quality
• Proven ability to lead and develop interdisciplinary teams
• Fluency in German and English
• High willingness to travel nationally and internationally
